Remember that thermal power plants are facilities designed to transform into electricity the resulting heat energy from burning fuels that can be solid (coal), liquid (diesel and jet) or gaseous (natural gas). However, the fuel currently in use in PRODEL for the production of electricity is diesel and jet B.
PRODEL employs Thermal Power motors, mainly in places with small concentration of charge to eliminate the need for electricity in the region.
