Commercial and Production Management

The Commercial Management, Operational Planning and Production Management, abbreviated as (DCOP), is one of the executive bodies of the Public Company of Electricity Production (PRODEL, EP), depends  functionally to the Board of Directors of PRODEL is subject to its determinations, productive orientations, administrative and financial.

Under the Planning Generation, Production Order and Energy Marketing, the Commercial Management Operational Planning and Production Management, was created taking into account the following objectives:

• Negotiate, monitor and control competently energy sales contracts with the Market Operator authority, ensuring compliance with contractual and respect for negotiation procedures.
• Follow and plan the operative developments of minimizing production outages and ensuring strategic and economic interests of the company.
• Oversee and coordinate the operation in real time the various centers electricity production, as well as the measurement and quality of energy delivered at border points.
• The data presented here are referenced to the year 2015, the year that PRODEL started its activities, but they should be updated whenever there are needs.
